This is Square 27 in the book, and the third in the Twist Stitch section. This one was considerably more difficult than the Twisted Columns square, because the pattern changed pretty much every row. Instructions for a similar pattern can be found at The Knitting Fiend. I made this square 5 rows shorter than the pattern called for, because many of my other squares are smaller than expected, and I was ready to move on to something else. I do think the pattern is very pretty, just not fun to knit.

This square was finished on the plane to Philadelphia. Knitting is great for long plane rides. And I’m now officially ~1/3 done with the lap blanket. Yay!
