Today, Mommy, Daddy & Kaity took me to the anthropology department to meet Grandma Judy, the department secretary. She’s really the only one who knows what’s going on up there, and she’s great at helping the grad students get through the maze of bureaucracy that is the graduate school. She loves all the babies in anthropology (and there have been A LOT of us in the last few years), and we consider her a surrogate grandmother.

And while I slept through our first meeting, she definitely gets the Charlie Seal of Approval, and I can’t wait to see her again, hopefully when I’m awake.
