Will it be Bachelor #1 (the jock), Bachelor #2 (the geek),  or Bachelor #3 (the stoner)?

This week’s Mustang Monday is Part I of The Dating Scene, where we see Valery trying to choose the best date from three very lucky bachelors.

Last week, Kaity finished up production on the spring play.  Titled Etcetera, it presented several sketches of teenage life, from concerns about the economy, to relationships and the 9th grade formal.  Kaity played Valery (with a -y not an -ie, because it saves paper and she is “all about the environment”), a sweet but ditzy girl who falls in love with a geek.  She also wrote one of the sketches, “Just Going as Friends,” about a girl who wants to go to the formal with someone of whom her friends and family disapprove.

The kids worked hard on this production, and were rewarded with a standing ovation after their final performance Friday night.  Kaity was sad that it was over, as it’s her last play at Central.  She has a lot of fond memories there.

Sidenote: I have video, which I will try to upload soon.  Dissertation takes priority right now. And Nana, can you name the dress that Kaity’s wearing?  She borrowed it for the big 9th grade formal dance scene.
